iMac G3

The iMac G3 is a line of personal computers developed, manufactured, and sold by Apple Computer from 1998 to 2003. Noted for its innovative design via the use of translucent and brightly colored plastics, it was the first consumer-facing Apple product to debut under the recently returned interim CEO Steve Jobs. It was updated over time with new hardware and colors, until being supplanted by the iMac G4 and eMac in 2002.

Known For Their Colors, "Flavors"

The iMac debuted with 1 color, or "flavor" when it first came out in 1998.  Those colors were blueberry, grape, strawberry, tangerine, lime, and graphite.  Apple advertised the absence of a beige color option on its website and in ads like "Sorry No Beige".  The original iMac G3 evolved to include the colors indigo, ruby, sage, snow, or different names for their colors, and in the last two generations the patterns "Flower Power", and "Blue Dalmatian" were included, as shown.
